The research method is applied, quantitative-experimental and correlational. The statistical population consists of all married women, 357 of whom were selected by convenience sampling. The research tools are questionnaires of demographic information(DQ), marital commitment(DCI), power structure in the family(PSQF), emotional divorce(EDS) and intimacy scale(IS). Data analysis is done through SPSS-27 and AMOS-24 software. The findings show that marital commitment and intimacy have a negative and significant effect on emotional divorce and family power structure can positively predict emotional divorce. The indirect effect of marital commitment and family power structure on emotional divorce is statistically significant (P<0.01). The results indicate that intimacy mediates the relationship between marital commitment and family power structure with emotional divorce, and emotional divorce can be predicted based on intimacy. Understanding the predictors of emotional divorce is important to gain a deeper insight into marital dynamics and to inform targeted interventions, support mechanisms and preventive strategies. The interaction between marital commitment, family power structures and the mediating effect of intimacy levels is proposed as a focal point for scientific research and therapeutic interventions.
