The present study was causal-comparative. The statistical population of this research included all prisoners of the central prison of Rasht in 2017. The sample consisted of 150 prisoners with intermittent explosive disorder based on DSM-5 and 169 prisoners without intermittent explosive disorder who were chosen by random sampling method. Data were collected using the intermittent explosive disorder questionnaire, impulsive behavior scale, aggression questionnaire and alexithymia questionnaire. The results of multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) showed that the average scores of the alexithymia, negative emergency and aggression in prisoners with intermittent explosive disorder were significantly that of the prisoners without intermittent explosive disorder. Regarding the presence of alexithymia, negative emergency and aggression in prisoners with intermittent explosive disorder, this finding has important implications for pathology and Treatment Planning of intermittent explosive disorder. <br />  هدف از پژوهش حاضر، مقایسه نارسایی هیجانی، اضطرار منفی و پرخاشگری در زندانیان با و بدون اختلال خشم انفجاری متناوب بود. این مطالعه از نوع علّی- مقایسهای بود. جامعه آماری این پژوهش کلیه زندانیان مرد زندان مرکزی رشت در سال 1396 بود. نمونه پژوهش 150 زندانی مبتلا به اختلال خشم انفجاری متناوب بر اساس DSM-5 و 169 زندانی بدون اختلال خشم انفجاری متناوب بودند که بهصورت تصادفی انتخاب شدند. برای جمعآوری دادهها از مصاحبه بالینی ساختار یافته بر اساس DSM-V، پرسشنامه های اختلال خشم انفجاری متناوب (IED-SQ)، پرخاشگری (بعدا جایگزین می شود)، نارسایی هیجانی (TAS) و مقیاس رفتار تکانه‏ای (IBS) استفاده شد. نتایج تحلیل واریانس چندمتغیری نشان داد که میانگین نمرات نارسایی هیجانی، اضطرار منفی و پرخاشگری در زندانیان با اختلال خشم انفجاری متناوب بهطور معناداری بیشتر از زندانیان بدون اختلال خشم انفجاری متناوب بود. با توجه بهوجود نارسایی هیجانی، اضطرار منفی و پرخاشگری در زندانیان با اختلال خشم انفجاری متناوب، نتایج این پژوهش تلویحات مهمی در آسیبشناسی و طراحی درمان برای اختلال خشم انفجاری متناوب دارد.<br />   https://japr.ut.ac.ir/article_75570_296b0c29140957d50606ab94304ffaec.pdf
