Abstract
The purpose research was the effectiveness of the psychological empowerment package based on media literacy skills on the perception of competence and the health-promoting style of students with behavioral problems. The current rsemi-experimental type of research, and in that design, pre-test and post-test were used with a control group. The statistical population of this research includes all male students of the first secondary school with behavioral problems in the schools of District 1 of Tehran in the academic year of 2022-2023. The research sample includes 40 students with behavioral problems who obtained higher scores in Quay and Peterson's behavioral problems questionnaire than the rest of the students and were selected as a statistical sample with the approval of teachers and school counselors, randomly divided into two groups of 20 people. The experiment and 20 control subjects were replaced. Children's Competency Perception Questionnaire (SPPC) and Health Promotion Style (HPLP) were used to collect data. Analysis of findings was done by SPSS-26 software and covariance analysis. The results showed that the psychological empowerment package based on the perception of competence and health-promoting style of students with behavioral problems in the first year of secondary school had an effect (p < 0.001).
