Abstract
The present study was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of unified protocol for transdiagnostic treatment on cognitive fusion and psychological distress of women victims of domestic violence . The current study was a semi-experimental application with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group and a two-month follow-up period. The statistical population of the present study was made up of women who were victims of domestic violence who referred to Isfahan Welfare Department in the winter season of 2023. In this research, 36 woman victims of domestic violence were selected by purposeful sampling and randomly assigned to experimental and control groups (18 woman in the experimental group and 18 woman in the control group). The women in the experimental group received the unified protocol for transdiagnostic treatment during ten weeks in ten 90-minute sessions. Experienced Domestic Violence Questionnaire (EDVQ), Cognitive Fution Questionnaire (CFQ) and Psychological Distress Questionnaire (PDQ) were used in the present study. The data were analyzed through mixed ANOVA via SPSS23 software. The results showed that unified protocol for transdiagnostic treatment has significant effect on the cognitive fusion (p<0.0001) and psychological distress (p<0.0001) in women victims of domestic violence.
