The present study was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy on marital burnout and psychological capital of veterans' wives. The present study was semi experimental (with experimental and control groups) with three-stage (pretest, posttest, follow-up) and two-month follow-up period design. In this research, the statistical population was formed by the spouses of neurology and psychiatry veterans who referred to the Shahid Counseling Center (under the supervision of the Martyr and Veteran Affairs Foundation) in Mashhad in the summer and fall of 2022. 51 spouses of veterans were selected through Voluntary sampling method and randomly accommodated into experimental (26 women) and control groups (25 women). The experimental group received cognitive behavioral therapy during ten weeks in 10 sessions of 90 minutes.
