Songs ,major artifact of media with cultural impacts,, naturally win the attention of a huge audience in society. The young generation and adolescents are considered as the main consumers of pop music and particularly love songs who are influenced by gender concepts and male-female roles framework embedded in the lyrics. The present investigation took a qualitative approach to conduct a content analysis of the song. From among plenty of tracks in the market, which are all sung by male singers according to governmental rules, the statistical society constructed the songs released in the last five years, and a collection of 50 songs were selected from tracks of more famous singers. Analysis of the the studied sample of love songs in terms of feminine identity pointed to the construction of gender with three main roles:1. Passive, under control, 2. Sexual object and seductive, 3. Unfaithful and irresponsible. The results indicated that feminine gender construction had no sign of conscious act, power, and free choice on the part of the females, and this was a representation of femininity along the hegemony of a patriotic discourse.
