Thepresent study was conducted with theaim of developing a happiness model based on social support withthe mediation of emotional intelligence in undergraduate students. The typeof fundamental research and descriptive method was correlation based on structural equations. The type of fundamental research and descriptive method was correlation based on structural equations. The statistical population ofthe research consisted of all undergraduate students at the Islamic Azad University of Science and Research inthe academic year 2022-2023 and in order to determine the sample size based on Klein's point of view in the structural equation model, 414 individuals were selected through multi-stage cluster random sampling. Oxford happiness questionnaire (OHI) perceived social support (MSPSS)and emotional intelligence (SSRI) were used to collect data. Data analysis was done through structural equation model using AMOS 26 software. Theresults of the findings showed that social support and emotional intelligence have a positive and significant relationship with students' happiness. Also, students' emotional intelligence positively and significantly mediates the relationship between social support and happiness. It can be concluded that social support in students acts as a protection against stressful events and it has an essential role in influencing and improving the quality oflife, mental health, and happiness in different societies.
