The Present Study Was Conducted with the Aim of Investigating the Mediating Role of Eating Core Belief in the Relationship Between Body Image Concern and Psychological Distress with Weight Self-Efficacy in Obese Women.The Research Method Was Applied and Correlational. The Statistical Population Included all Women With BMI≥25 Who Had Referred to Obesity Treatment Centers in 2022. The Research Sample Was 429 Overweight and Obese Women Who Were Selected by Voluntary Sampling. To Collect Data, Eating Disorder Beliefs Questionnaire, Body Image Concern Questionnaire, Psychological Distress Questionnaire, and Weight Self-Efficacy Questionnaire Were Used. The Data Were Analyzed Using Pearson's Correlation Coefficient and Bootstrap Tests and Using AMOS24 Software.The Proposed Model Had a Good Fit. The Results of the Research Showed that the Direct Effect of Psychological Distress, Concern about Body Image and Core Belief with Self-Efficacy Was Significant. Also, the Indirect Effect of Psychological Distress and Concern about Body Image With the Mediation of Eating Core Beliefs Was Significant.According to the Obtained Results, Psychological Distress and Concern about Body Image Through Core Belief Can Explain Self-Efficacy in Obese Women.
