The aim of the present study was to develop a model of psychological well-being based on perceived social support and resilience with a mediating role of social self-efficacy in mothers of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.The research community was consisted of all mothers with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, whose children were studying in primary special schools in Isfahan city from 2021 to 2022.For the sample, 248 mothers were selected by multi-stage random sampling. The data of this research was collecting by using different tools including:Rief Psychological Well-being Questionnaire (1989); Connor and Davidson Resilience Scale (2003); Zimmet et al (1988) Multidimensional Perceived Social Support Scale; and the Smith and Betz (2002) Social Self-efficacy Questionnaire.Then, the data was evaluated by using structural equation method with Spss and Amos software.the resuls of this research indicated the significant relationship between perceived social support and resilience with the mediating role of social self-efficacy (their indirect effect on psychological well-being was 0.648 and 0.228).Consequently, the resuls of this research emphasized that social factors such as perceived social support and social self-efficacy and individual factors such as resilience had significant impact on the psychological well-being of mothers with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
