The present study, conducted to revise and validate the children’s perception of inter-parental conflict scale with a focus on content validity and confirmatory factor analysis, was fundamental in nature and employed a descriptive–correlational research design. In the first fifteen experts evaluated the content of the items, and in the second phase, 439 adolescents (both male and female), aged 13 to 18, voluntarily responded to the scale. In addition to confirmatory factor analysis for assessing construct validity, the Family Communication Scale (FCS) was employed to examine divergent validity, and the Achenbach Youth Self-Report (YSR) was utilized to assess concurrent criterion validity. The findings revealed that out of the initial 49 items, 16 were removed, reducing the scale to 33 items. The results of the confirmatory factor analysis supported the revised model, with the factor loadings of the items reported as adequate (χ²/df = 1.45; RMSEA = 0.032). The concurrent criterion validity (0.48), divergent validity (–0.42), and Cronbach’s alpha coefficient (0.85) indicated satisfactory internal consistency and overall reliability of the instrument.
