The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediation role of thinking styles in the relationship of intelligence and creativity in 12- to 16-year-old male and female students. This research was of fundamental purpose in terms of descriptive and descriptive-correlational in terms of type of research. The statistical population included all male and female students aged 12-16 years in the 12 district of Tehran in the second semester of 1396-67. 200 students were selected using simple random sampling sampling method. Research measurement tools were Wechsler test Wechsler Form 4(WISC-IV (, Creative Thinking Test Torrance Form B (TTCT) and Short Form One Thinking Questionnaire Sternberg (TSI). Multiple regression SPSS21 software was used to analyze the data. The results showed that the variable role of intelligence in predicting positive creativity (0.142) and the role of legislative thinking (-0.145) and judgment (-0.165) were negative. There was also no indirect effect for the intelligence variable on creativity, which was a mediating effect of legislative and judiciary thinking. But the variable role of intelligence and executive thinking in predicting creativity (0.165) was positive, as well as the indirect effect of the variable on intelligence with creativity indicating the mediating effect of executive thinking.
