The therapy groups separately received 8 session of spiritual therapy and meta-cognitive therapy and control group don’t received any treatment. All of groups completed the Cattell Anxiety Questionnaires (CAQ) as the pre-test, post-test and two month follow-up. Data were analyzed by covariance method. Results showed that unlike meta-cognitive therapy, in post-test state, spiritual therapy lead to decrease rate of anxiety. But in the follow-up state neither spiritual therapy nor meta-cognitive therapy display any significant difference in reducing the rate of anxiety. Although effect of spiritual therapy manifests earlier than meta-cognitive therapy, but in long trun these two treatments are not significantly different. Therefore the use of Spiritual therapy and meta-cognitive therapy are effective in reduction of anxiety.
