The aim of the research was compare mind wandering and cognitive distortions in students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder with and without pornography. The design of the research was descriptive, causal and comparative in terms of purpose, it was practical. The statistical population included students with ADHD symptoms and without pornography, pornographic students without ADHD symptoms, and normal students in Tehran in 1400, which included 2432 students (1449 women and 983 men). The research sample was 500 adults with ADHD with and without pornography, who were divided into 4 groups of 125 people based on the cutoff score: with ADHD/with pornography, with ADHD/without pornography, without ADHD/with pornography, and normal. The research tools were Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ASRS), Problematic Use of Pornography (PPUS-P), Intentional and Unintentional Wandering (MWS), Cognitive Distortions (CDS). Data analysis was through univariate and multivariate analysis of variance and Hochberg GT2 post hoc test with spss24 software. The results showed that there is a difference between the 4 groups in mind wandering and cognitive distortions (p<0.05). The group with ADHD/with pornography than the group with ADHD/without pornography and the group without ADHD/with pornography have more mind wandering scores and less cognitive distortions than the normal group.
