The purpose of the present research was to study mediating role of psychological security in the relationship between self-worth and family cohesion with marital satisfaction of female teachers. A descriptive correlational study design was used. The statistical population of this study included all female teachers in the Khoy city in the first half of 2021, that 285 people as samples of research was selected through simple random sampling. To measure the variables, Fowers & Olson, marital satisfaction questionnaire (1989), Crocker contingencies of self-worth scale (2003), Maslow psychological security questionnaire (1952) and Samani family cohesion questionnaire (2007) were used. Pearson correlation test and path analysis were used to analyze the data. All statistical analyzes of this study were performed using Amos software and SPSS22 software. Results showed that self-worth and family cohesion affect directly with marital satisfaction. Also, the results showed that psychological security has a mediating role in the relationship between self-worth and family cohesion with marital satisfaction. According to the findings of the research, it can be said that the relation between self-worth and family cohesion with marital satisfaction of female teachers is not considered as a simple linear relationship and it can be mediated by psychological security.
